40W Tube Wiring Question

I decided to rewire the Laser after my Big Green Resistor started smoking. I didn't think there was any harm leaving it in place.
I have now bypassed it and just joined the wires together.

I could not find out how to connect the digital Meter so I went back to using the Analog Meter.

Could someone tell me if this wiring sketch looks correct.

This is a good connection diagram. Just need to pay a little attention to the polarity of the analog meter. If +/- reversed, the needle will swing to the opposite dirction. If that happened, no problem just swap the +/- connection on the meter
