-Power Z table: Yes (up to 150mm travelling)
Blue (Hummingbird) :
-Size: 600mm x 400mm
-Power: 40W, 60W, 80W (Reci or standard)
-Power Z table: No
Gray (Hawk):
-Size: 900mm x 600mm
-Power: 40AW, 60W, 80W (Reci or standard)
-Power Z table: Yes (up to 200mm travelling)
Anyone who is interested, please let me know in advance and I'll order more. I won't carry too many for the 1st shipment.

Hi Marco
Looks good. A couple of questions:
You write: " An air cooling system is installed inside of the machine to improve the performance.", but I know the tube is still watercooled. What are the air cooling for?
Is the watercooler included? Otherwise you might want to add it as a related product
Is red dot (via beam combiner) included? If not, you should really consider this.
Regarding working area, you write: not excact and +/- 30mm . I think you should write the minimum working area. People would like to know that and it doesnt seam professional when it looks like the seller doesnt know their own product.
You should consider autofocus since your controller already support it and the table is steppermotor driven.
It looks like the machines are very similar to Thunderlaser, only with a better controller. From what I can tell, the machines are also almost identical in price also, so those small things would really benefit your sales I think.
Finally, a lot more detailed pictures would be nice:-)

Re: New laser machine Lightobject will carry soon
The "air-cooled" actually it is water-cooled. It's a radiator with a cooling fan installed. So, it is an air-cooled or it is a water-cooled as well.
Red dot is not installed. With combiner? Well, some folks may not want to see the raise of price for another $200 or more. I do carry the mount and the combiner so I leave it open for an option.
I don't think the +/- 30mm will cause any big impact on my reputation, especially for new machine I'm importing. No mercy? The fact is that I'm moving to a new warehouse with a big lot. I'm buyer 4 different models machines for demo and for learning tools. With machine here, I can tell more info by inspecting it, running it and modifying it. I can test feature upon request. Won't it be a better way to show your customer you know by doing real test on it? In fact, I'd to exchange dialog with my customers and this is the best way to know what they are looking for. You don't want to sell them something that is useless or rare use feature and charge them more. In fact, my machine is custom-made to some extend. I can explain everything in detail in both "Pro" or "Con" without hiding. Let them know that what is "+" and what is "-" and show them my Pro manner. Remember that it's is a machine of five grands and more. If my customer is not happy, I won't be happy as trouble is coming if I didn't explain well prior the sale.
Take the +/- issue as an example, by installing a red dot pointer attachment(not combiner), you lost more space than 30mm! If folks are thinking that because of not listing 100% of work area and questioning about my knowledge or my product, well they should buy it direct from China and talk to the 'Pro' there.
I'd to sell product to whom they can trust on me. I don't sell things because of $$!
Yes, I'm considering to design a sensor pro for auto sensing for those machine with power 'Z' table. It's about the probe, nothing else. But there is not a good probe for auto focus so I'm still debuting which one to use
Forget about "Thunder". They are NOT a manufacturer. They're just a trading company buying DSP and machine and put their logo on. This is an old long story and I don't want to bring it up here or some fans of Thunder may shout out loud later. Anyway, most machine look like similar because they share sources of case from limited provider. It's a matter of what kind of parts being used to build the machine, and what kind of service provided after sales. If you want cheap cheap machine, one can consider machine from Jinang city, ShnagDong province. Very cheap but won't last long.

Hi Marco
Just giving you some advices, but it sounds like you get a bit offended. You should stay of that track, when answering customers post.
Sounds great that you will stock them and get to learn them. My point was that you already put them on the website, without knowing the excact working area.
The red light would be a nice option, maybe in time there could be more options to choose from, so people could have the version they wanted. Btw. why do you loose +-30mm, its just a clipon to the laser head, doesnt take up any space at all.
I havent seen a good height sensor solution yet, so developing one would be nice. It should be quite simple i think.
We already have two machines from Jinang, I wouldnt recommend them to anybody, without the proper skill to fix them. Besides we already changed both controller, tubes and mirrors/lenses to yours, making them almost "Lightobject" machines:-)

Re: New laser machine Lightobject will carry soon
When you said I didn't know the machine I’m selling because of adding the +/- 30mm. You can’t blame on my frustration and offensive reaction. These are the new machine that I’m importing, I can’t tell everything in so much detail.
All machines are custom made and size can vary a bit upon request. The size can be a little bit bigger or smaller and cast can be changed to some extend even though it's not usual. I don't see any issue by making a warning of +/- 30mm before sale. In fact, that won't be less argument and customer won't fell in disappointment. Just like when you order Internet services with 8MB download speed and 384upload. The provider always say that speed may vary and no guarantee. To avoid this, I add a little ‘room’ to tell my customer in advance to avoid any disappointment. So far, I don’t have a single complain selling many XY stages and machines.
For the machines and XY stages that I sold ( I mean not built by me), I couldn’t say exact size of the machine would be like 600mm x 900mm even though it can travel 600mmx 900mm. There is no ‘rule’ for the machine imported from China so I tell as much I know. This is how they do: they make a big bigger in XY stages and use the software to constrain the work area. So, for the 600x900 machine, the physical size of the XY (outside) dimension could be 685mm x 990mm. Then, for the inner size(minus extrusion aluminum), it is 645mm x 950mm. After installing a XY limit switch, it may lose another 5mm depends the type of sensor used. A running board that a laser head mounted on shall take 15mm~20mm on either end. By adding all those number on, the real travelling space cold be 620mm x 925mm (estimate). By using DSP controlling, one can set it to 600mmx 900mm. But in some case because of machine chassis structure issue, the XY must change to accommodate the differential. So far I don't see anyone is so picky on the exact dimension. But is anyone who need something specail, I'll talk to my tech there to make change to fit there need if possible.
I'm not sure if you have seemed the red dot attachment that installed on the laser head. I’m not talking about beam combiner (cost more) but just a laser pointer with an attachment. It has to install outside of the laser head with a fixture. It shoot beam in about 45 degree. But the size of the laser pointer is about 20mm. So, making 45 degree angle aiming to the target underneath it, how much horizontal space it take?
Same thing happened to the auto focus sensor probe. By installing the sensor probe to the laser head, it takes up some space. Plus, it added weight as well. I usually suggest my customer to do it manually as it is not hard to make focus on a target. Or, just use a ruler (you can make it using your laser machine).
Anyway, I know you may be a Pro on laser and I’m still a rookie. I’m learning every day. You may not like my style as being subjective but it is the way to keep me awake and digging out more question and solutions. I don’t mean to hurt your feeling but when I don’t agree with your point, I’ll speak up. Sorry, my bad habit even my wife complaining once a while. I can’t change though. By the way, you got to understand some limitation and the cost factors for the laser manufactured in China. It is not perfect and if it has to fulfilled all your requirements, the price won’t be that cheap. Think about Epilog or other laser machine, the minimum cost for a 400x600 is $10,000!

Re: New laser machine Lightobject will carry soon
I am interested in purchasing our first laser cutter. 1200 x 900. We currently run a CNC machine and consider ourselves pretty good with hardware and software. These being new units what kind of documentation will allow us to get it from the crate to putting it in production. Our primary use will be cutting signage (acrylic).

Re: New laser machine Lightobject will carry soon
Hello Linell:
Unfortunately, there is not much document available for the machines. FYI, most laser machine are pretty similar from one to another. If you know one, you probably know the other within 10~15min. The main part need to learn is the software and the controller of which I can provide user manual for you. For the machine, it is really not much to cover in general. But, there is a little tech skill require if you need to change laser tube, upgrade power supply, or change lens. Again, you don't need to get a degree of rocket science in order to do it. I can help and I'm sure folks from the forum will give you a lot of advise as well.
FYI, we're going to move to a bigger warehouse soon. I'll have a few machines setup, from a small one of 300x200 to the big 1200x900, not forget to mention the monster 2000x4000 for demonstration. If you're willing to spend a couple thousands for a machine used in your business (profit making), then I think you may consider flying over to my shop in Sacramento for basic training of how to use a laser machine. I'll teach you how to use it in general and I'll show you how to replace laser tube and mirrors/lens alignment. These are most issue you will have to face in the future once you have the machine. Note that the training is free.
Let me know if that interested you

Re: New laser machine Lightobject will carry soon
Ok, you guys really did it.... Provoked me to my first post on any forum.... ever. So it I mess up on etiquette its just point it out to me and go on please. I saw that Marco prefers discussion in forums in preference to email, etc and would like to honor that, but I wonder where to draw the line. Direct sales question about lightobject web page info? I see things that look like inconsistencies to me in the machine descriptions and how things like payment and shipping costs are handled in cart versus what the description says. Many web pages by many companies have such issues so no big deal. But do you deal with such in the forums or email. Specifically, some machines will generate a shipping cost estimate when imported into cart and others do not. When they do, the cost does not match the info in the description, so which is right. Especially when you are about to have some in stock in US again. Also, some descriptions say table is fixed then right below say it will move. Which is right? Do I misunderstand?
Also, in regards to the table size precision discussion. Well, Marco, it matters to me and I wonder why you have not had other questions. Here is why. US is still primarily and English measurement system country. Commonly available engraving stock tends to come in sizes that are increments of 12 inches. These metric dimension tables are slightly undersize to handle 12 inch increments --- if the table dimensions are precise. It would be desireable to use a 12"x24" stock sheet or 24" x24" without hassle from a table that is a fraction of an inch too small. Also, if you are cutting something such as a jigsaw puzzle, they are commonly (Springbok) 24" x 36" and I would like to match that size. Maybe others have ways of dealing with this that I am not aware. I do know that in at least some machines you can put in larger material than it can cut, but I need the full 12 inch multiple for cutting.
Quite understandable that you would not know what the precise dimensions of worktable in a new machine are yet, given the environment it is coming from. But I sure want to know as soon as you can find out. Same for the XY mechanicals.
Thanks

Re: New laser machine Lightobject will carry soon
Hello (sorry I don't know your name)
First of all thank you for your feedback. I do realize about the shipping cost issue. Here are a few points that you may be aware of. First of all, I ship things to worldwide but not just to USA. So, there are two issues obviously seem: matric vs. imperial and shipping cost.
Let's say I have the XY stage in stock in US warehouse. I'll ship from Ca location to a US customer and the shipping rate is pretty much flat rate. But what happen if a customer is from Denmark or Australia? Well, the DHL or UPS rate change vs country and region. The shipping rate is definitely not the same to ship from US to US. Because of that I have to create so many shipping method and rate per item and per different region. Trust me, it is not a perfect way and it is not easy. Just the XY stage got 4 models with different size and different way. Water chiller range from 800W to 1400W and weight vary. So... got that point so far? Now for the laser machine, there are 4 models to select from and they have different dimension and weight. Some I can ship by DHL but some it must go by ocean shipment. Or in odd case, a customer may want to pay double cost but to get it fast and I still able to use DHL.
FYI, I found that shipping a laser machine from US to US is not cheaper than shipping from China to US. Trust me, I have done some homework and it cost more to ship from CA to any part of mid to East coast. Take the small Yellow Jacket (600x400) as an example. Shipping from China to US cost about $800 but shipping from CA to the mid or East cost over $850. Worst if we ship from US to Int'l, the shipping cost is $1500 to $2000!! Therefore, I'd to have my customer contact me for getting a better quote on the shipping when buying laser machine. The reason I import 7 machines on coming shipment because I want to have my hands on. So, if one has a question then at least I can ran into my demo room and do some test or make some measurement for them. The machine stock in CA is not mean to ship out of California as the shipping rate is very high. I'd my customer to stop my shop to test it before buying it. If 100% satisfy it, I'll order one and ship from China to their location, door to door.
Regarding the system, I have to tell you that I really have no control. As I mentioned before, I ship worldwide and there are two system dominate the world: matric and imperial. I can’t stock a system for matric and another for imperial. Like many seller in USA, I’m a oem reseller as I don’t make the machine. I buy machines from a qualify company and resale it. I may ask them to add extra feature on it like the power Z table or LED light bulb or fan or minor modification to some extent. But I can’t ask them to change the size from “mm” to “inch” as I don’t have such quantity for demanding. Plus, they buy the case from another oem company to build the machine. Today if I change the system from integer number like 48”x36” which is “1219.2mm x914.4mm”. Then, the other folks in Norway or Denmark will ask the question: why don’t you make a machine of “1200mm x 600mm”? So, If you were me, what do you do?
Generally speaking, the size of machine manufactured in China is quite standard:
300x200
600x400
900X600
1200X800, 1200x900
1800X1000, 1800x1200
Over 1800mm one should consider “tube –riding” machine as light beam power is greatly affected by the travelling distance and beam expander should be used. Plus, for over size machine, it is dedicated for cutting job only.
I’ll try my best to work out a solution for my customer. As long as I can do it, I won’t be heritage to do my customer a favor. By the way, it is not easy to deal with folks in China. First of all, time frame is different. We’re 15~16hrs behind. So when we’re working in the day light, they’re either sleeping or dining. To ask one to change a little thing on the machine, you may need to spend twice time and need reminder times and times to avoid any mistake. Trust me, not easy!
Not sure if you follow me so far or buy my point. But this is how it happen. This is why so many customer calling me about and tell me some stories they are facing when dealing direct in China
If you have any question, feel free to contact me by email, phone, or by post. I’m open, not secret . If I have done anything wrong, I’m not afraid to admit it in the public

Re: New laser machine Lightobject will carry soon
For anyone considering purchasing from Marco, seriously, do it, he's one of the best sellers I've come across when it comes to this stuff. I've bought from him many times, from one off items to the XY stages, and he's great. Answered all my questions within the same day, and he goes above and beyond to help you out. I wouldn't hesitate for a second purchasing a complete machine off him - hopefully one day I may have the money to do so.
He even mentioned free training in a previous post if you can get to his warehouse - try find another professional company dealing in this stuff to give you free training ...
Fair enough people want to know every single snippet of info before dropping money on a machine, but trust me, if Marco knew the answer, he'd tell you, he's not going to hide anything from you. Once he has the machine on hand, he'll have all the info you could ever need

Re: New laser machine Lightobject will carry soon
I probably, er certainly, should have made a different name -- weird mood.
Marco, I completely understand your points about shipping, dealing with worldwide customer base, and dealing with Chinese suppliers. I have done the same and it can be a nightmare full of inconsistencies. So I am not intending to criticize in any way. In fact the opposite. I am very interested in your products and from what I have read I really like your attitude and integrity.
All I really want is to get some things clarified about shipping and machine dimensions when you are able to do so. I perceived some urgency because you have a shipment arriving in a couple of days and I did not want to miss a possible purchase opportunity...... inventory ordered is quite small and (hopefully for you) may sell quickly. I wish you the best chance of success.
I believe you indicated in the discussion that no one had indicated interest in the exact dimension of the work area of your products. I wanted to telly you I am and express a little surprise that others were not. Reason being that the nominal size and tolerances you gave straddles the size of commonly available engraving materials in US. Big size fits, small size does not. So is important to material handling and waste generated. I need to know. Realizing that and with further input from other customers you might be able to force your size large and use that for a marketing advantage. Something to consider.
I suppose a related question would be: Even if you measured these machines precisely do you expect batch to batch consistency with future orders? I know that can be an issue with any supplier but have seen it particularly with Chinese suppliers in my experience.
Shipping. I live in central Texas and have recommended some shipments to port of Houston to avoid the roller coaster of negotiating land route fees which can be all over the map. Kind of like buying airline tickets but seems even worse to me. I think from what has been said that you inspect each machine and may even modify them, so this path would be a problem. I am, however, an engineer with many years hands on experience and I would be willing to take some risk in that area if there is a cost benefit to be gained. Ain't skeer'd. But then, you would have to trust my integrity and you don't know me. Just a thought.
This whole business is new to me -- I am recently retired and trying new things, crazier the better. I am wrestling with the value that says be frugal versus the realization that the amounts of money we are talking about to purchase a machine or two should be very small for a successful business revenue generator. And I do vigorously support small businessmen. I have been known to pay more than asked for something just for that reason.
So enough of that rambling. Just let me (us) know what you are able to clarify when you are able, please. Again, absolutely no criticism intended.
