Post by tonylange »

Can anyone help me. What SSR does the JLD 634 take. It says in the pampjlet under Master Output, which are terminal 10 and 11 - SSR Driving Voltage and doesnt say what voltage it is. Under Password 0089 it has place to set something up inder oAty but thats under Output type and in mA. What do I do???? Please anyone! Thanks Tony

You need a SSR with DC input (must be DC for our controller) and AC output type (or DC depends on your application). The input of a standard SSR runs from DC3V to 32V. Output controlled voltage usually runs from as low as 24V to as high as 265V or 380V.

Example: 2000Watt heating element, AC110V
Current = 2000/110 = 18A
So, a 25A should be fine in your applicaiton.

Make sure you attach a heatsink to the SSR as considerable heat will be generated from a SSR.
