stepper driver stopped functioning: how to test?
My K40 upgrade X stepper driver : Mini 2 Phase 1.5A 1-axis Stepping Motor Driver stopped working yesterday. I don't know anything about electronics- The green LED indicates power ON. Can anyone outline a procedure to check components within?

Re: stepper driver stopped functioning: how to test?
Check wire connection or swap the X and Y driver to test if it works.
Both X & Y driver need 24V (up to 35V) to operate

Re: stepper driver stopped functioning: how to test?
I did establish a baseline for my problem - stepper driver is not working- I replaced plugs and wiring/ opened component to see if any obvious burned out stuff etc.
After I discovered problem of x-axis not running, I swapped in a new stepper driver with identical specs for the non-functioning one and the X-axis motor functioned correctly. Prior to this problem I had a broken x limit switch for a while- is it possible the x- stepper burned out if the head got stuck at reset for too long- this is how I identified a problem with my limit switch- after I replaced the limit switch everything was normal until I changed the DIP switch on the stepper ... at some point later the stepper driver just quit. I have not verified output of my 24V DC PSU but seeing as the two stages function with a replacement...
What is the most likely component within to have failed- How to test? and what to replace? Thanks in advance.
