So is it possible to alter the 'laserstart' macro to automatically start the laser cutting process? Alternatively can you create a shortcut key for the 'start' button in LaserCAD?

No you can't. You need to use LaserCad to set the speed and power before it start to process your job file

Hi Marco,

A picture of the main board is attached.

I'm not running any software with the board at the moment as it hasn't been installed. I bought the board to upgrade a laser printer running the "infamous" MoshiDraw, but for various reasons I was delayed in completing the project.

Basically I am just hoping to end up with something usable, so whatever software is available I'll try.

That's an older DSP board (I named it 2011 DSP) that 'we' stop making or selling after 2011. The programmer formed a new company and came up a new DSP card "AWC608" on 2012 and that is the card that I'm carrying. That's a long story about that card 2011 (not a please one .

I just searched and found a copy of PHCad_v4.38 that I downloaded in March 2011.

Is that the only software I will need to drive the controller?

What is the latest Lasercad version?? (and AWC608)
I am still having real problems trying to sort my machine..... (awful engraving).... so I decided to completely reinstall everything so I can "fault find" with no legacy on the machine or PC.

John. There is no new update software available. The software has nothing to do with the engraving or cutting. You need to check your parameter setup and/or mechanic & wire connection.

Ah well i was hoping there'd be a version to woark directly with corel draw 6.
