*New product* Beam combiner mount + 650mw laser pointer

Hello:

We have designed a new beam combiner for CO2 laser. The mount comes with a 5mW red dot laser pointer power by DC3V. With this mount, you can combined the red dot laser with CO2 laser with fully adjusable angle mount. It is easy to install it as it comes with a stand. What you need to do is to place this combiner right in the front of a laser tube, about 2" away, that's all you need to do. The height is adjustable and the reflection angle of the red beam is adjustable through 3 screws. What you need to get is a 25mm beam combiner lens.

We have 10 prototyping finished and should arrived my shop in about 10 days

The full production will be launched after Chinese New Year.

Without the combiner lens/mirror, the mount (with a 5mW focus adjustable laser pointer installed) is $69 a set. It need a 25mm combiner lens/mirror to work with.

The mount is made of aluminium and routed by CNC. The laser pointer is powered by 3~5V and I suggest to use 3V or less as it seems that in that range the laser dot is the finest with very less diffuse light around it.

Note: this is limited edition. Many parts are hand made and labor intense process. In the future, we're working a better solution by eliminate some parts see if we can cut down the cost and make it cheaper to sell.

Great timing Marco! I've got an order almost ready and was going to put a combiner mount, lens and laser dot on the order but will wait for this to be ready for ease of installation! If youre selling the prototypes I'd be willing to purchase one when they are ready.

Do you know the height of the lens and is it adjustable? It looks like it is adjustable but just wanted to make sure.

Also, do you have a good power source for it? I'm sure you sell something that will work nice but I was just curious to make purchasing/installation easy.

It is fully adjustable (L,R,U,D, height & focus) that's why it cost us more than to make than order a fixed module from the 3rd party. Once you set it up right the first time, you can use the red dot laser to adjust the mirror and lens angle and/or focus point. Very handy! Even the color (should be greendish but went out of dye) is custom work. The stand and laser pointer all picked from another party so when added up, it cost more
FYI, everything in China the price is rising. Plus, Chinese currency is record high now, it means we need to pay more to import things from China. I tried not to raise my price to stay competitive and to make DIY possible. If you guys from something on my site is super high price, please sounds out and I'll either drop the price or find an alternative.

I do carry 3V DC power supply and you can use it to power the laser pointer. Or, simply get a step down dc-dc power module to tap to any DC sources in the laser machine to get the voltage from and power the pointer. For the 1st 10 units, I'll give the power supply fore free!

I tested this combiner while I was in China. So cool to see that the laser beam hit where the red dot was going. One may need to pay a little attention is that it take a little space from the laser compartment to fit it in. The unit is having approximate 2" wide. So, make sure you have enough space before buying it. In most case, you can extend out a laser tube out from the case to buy some space and it is very usual to do it. Our laser machines all come with a cage for making such accommodation.

This new combiner mount should arrive in 7~10 days
