I have not found a nice precoiled hose either as I would rather avoid buying a cable chain until I want to upgrade to laser 2.x. Currently I just use an airbrush nozzle and hang it off the focus mirror mount with wire and just run surgical tubing. Took some fidlong to get it setup to not fold down under the laser. I'll take pictures when I get back from visiting family.

Some auto store have air tools that use the small coiled air tubing. You might want to try them and see what they have. You can also search eBay for them.
Here is a link from Australian eBay for something like you are after.

Marco,

When are you going to be selling that nozzle? I'd love that instead of having to screw an nozzle on top of the lens holder.

Those 1/4" hoses are far to big and stiff to use, they would add too much drag to the laser head assembly. I have one in the garage on my compressor. Actually I think the surgical tubing I'm using is to big. I'd much rather have a coiled 1/16th ID hose, but I've had no luck finding one.

I did order the hose that Walt link which should be here in a week or so. I'll let you know how that goes, otherwise I might just have to bit the bullet and but on a cable chain.

Hi Marco,

I can't find that air nozzle in your site. You posted a link for the tubing, can we have the one for the air nozzle kit as well so we can see the price?

You don't need to use the coil tube but staight type tubing instead. Coil tube looks short but it's long and the weight of it may cause some 'over-loading' on the K40 . Remmeber that K40 only comes with two small 42series motor.

I haven't posted the air assist laser head yet as I need to find two tiny screws that supposed to come with. It's used to lockup the bottom part of the laser head. Without it, the cone part will fall off. Been talking to the supplier but they have louzy customer services and ignore my request. So, I'll find another supplier to make it in the future.

By the way, I have better ZnSe focus lens for the K40. If you found that the cutting power is dropping, you may try mine. The ZnSe that comes with the K40 is very low grade type. I'll shoot some picture for the comparsion.
