Hi, guys, I am running a test build with windows 10, I have LaserCad 7.6 installed with Corel Draw x6 64bit.
When I try to install the plugin it says :
I talked to the programmer and he said that he should work. But there is a procedure you should follow. I got to check the manual and see 'how to'. Will post back later when I found it.
He said that it would work. What you need to do is to do it manually.
Run the LaserCad, select "Plugin For CorelDraw"
Click Install
Uncheck "Auto to Install"
Select Coreldraw version, in your case, it is Coreldraw X6(64bit)
Click Browse and find the path for the CorelDraw folder. Since you have 64bit version, the CorelDraw folder should be located in the "Program Files". As opposite that if you have 32bit CorelDraw, you should select "Program Files (x86)
Click Corel folder
Click CorelDraw Graphics Suite X6 and high-lighted it. Do not select the subfolder
Click OK
It should work. I installed it on my X7 and it worked
I could have sworn that I did those exact steps 5 times before posting in this forum without success....but now that I tried it one more time after you posted, it worked!
Thanks
As you can see by the screen shots I highlighted the "CorelDraw X6" directory (under the "Program Files (x86)\Corel" directory)
Does not work.
So I tried highlighting the "Corel" directory under the Program Files (x86) directory.
Does not work
So I tried highlighting the Program Files (x86) directory.
Does not work.
I was never able to make this work.
Not in Windows 7
Not in Windows 8
Not in Windows 8.1
and Not in Windows 10
Each time you release a new version of LaserCad I hope and cross my fingers that the bug gets fixed,
Here's hoping that it gets fixed in 7.66B if not then maybe 7.67B or .......
