Marco,
How did you wire the digital timer/counter to the 608 controller (for laser usage hours)? I ordered this EPM-JLD484SBLUELED, but cannot find if there is anything else that I need. I watched the video on YouTube but cannot tell. It looks like you have something else attached to the wires?

I already have that. Not really sure how to hook it up to the controller. Marco has the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSuyQ8y_TI8 of the counter running when the laser fires. It looks like he has something else in line after the counter like a isolated power module or something. Was hoping he could shed some light on the actual parts needed and how he hooked it up? I ordered the counter and have it, but I am stumped from here. Searching the forum brings up nothing showing it either.

Hi mixer911:
I will show you when I get better. Currently I'm having some fever after spending three days in Reno for a volleyball tournament(my daughter game)
What you need is a Relay I/O board and use the Normally Closed to connect to the "Pause" of the counter. Use OUT1 from the DSP card as the output from the OUT2 is too fast to catch it. I think by counting on time the XY is moving is a good estimate for the tube being used

That's what was stumping me, couldn't figure out how to stop the timer with an output. That makes sense. I wouldn't mind seeing how you did it when you get a chance.
