This is a means to avoid using masking tape on your mirrors. You will have to adjust mirrors accordingly with the standard documentation.

These targets can be placed in front of the mirror... fire a test shot and use screws to align to center of target.

You can inkjet print out the file as a sheet of targets on paper, card or whatever e.g mylar... then cut out individual targets to place in front of the mirrors to test alignment / One for each mirror / one at a time. Start with the second mirror that is on the gantry.

In future you can etch and cut the whole file with LASERCAD to have 2-4mm acrylic plexi targets if you like or any other suitable material.

I only want to make some cuts with the machine nothing of engraving.

hi
all of us in this section somehow have a 40W machine, if you do the upgrade the recommendation is to change the power supply that has pwm (pulse width modulation)

because they have left many power supplies, it is difficult to know exactly whether you have or not, if will cover consumer expectations.

Take off your problems and install a new one will be worth your investment.

I recommend that you open a new thread and inicies from there, since this is a strange topic to your request, with Marco accounts with technical support, although at this point there is a lot of information on this forum, you should only give a time revise all.

Make a complete upgrade, is completely disassemble the machine, in the process you can improve it in several points, from paint to your liking, etc

this is the one I'm currently installing
http://www.lightobject.com/AWC608-DSP-u ... -P758.aspx

this is more "recent"
http://www.lightobject.com/X7-DSP-upgra ... -P942.aspx

if you do your upgrade will learn enough of laser machines.

if not too much to ask, could you post images of your work in laser ?? There are many questions and answers, but as it lacks the actual participation of us with our work.

regards
(I'm in Mexico)

hola

http://www.lightobject.com/AWC608-DSP-u ... -P758.aspx

esta es mas "reciente"
http://www.lightobject.com/X7-DSP-upgra ... -P942.aspx

Saludos
(yo estoy en México)
