New laser worked great for a month.

So i got my k40 clone and have been using it for the last month with no issues but the regular crapy software issues untill now..

So i will be doing an engraving or a cut and about 1/6th of the way through and it stops. laser off head stopped in its tracks. I've checked belts and wheels and everything seems good.
Now if i start the work with the laser PSU off and let the work go for a minute then turn on the laser switch the status display in software stats the machine is closed the second i press the button i disconnected and it only gets another 5 6 passes that it has in the cache on the board.
I'm guessing my PSU must be bad but i'm not ready to spend the money and get a new PSU. wondering if anyone else has had any problems like this?
I think i will just have to order a new PSU and DSP board.

Is it the original Moshi board inside?
