Hello,
I am setting up a JLD-7100 to interupt my water pump (WP) circuit on my laser power supply - in series with a flow switch. This way I have a fail safe for high temp and low flow.
Problem is that I bought a "K-type" thermocouple and after testing it seems to generate a small amount of heat (+4 degrees Celsius over the course of 30 minutes). Now, I understand that a K type is for high heat applications and 4 degrees is unlikely to matter if you are measuring 1000, but it matters a lot in my application.
So, which thermocouple or thermoresistor should I buy? Something more accurate in the 15-25 deg celsius range. Does LightObject stock this?
Thanks,
Travis
I need a different thermocouple, which one?

Re: I need a different thermocouple, which one? (SOLVED)
Turns out that I just need better heat dissipation. I am re-configuring the thermocouple so that it has better contact with the coolant.
