Hello all,
here is a cool idea that is turning out some really cool results. I am layering a 'scene' of sorts splitting the image up into layers and each layer has it's own color. Each layer is currently being lit using cold cathode lighting, same used for PC case lighting. I'm looking into using some high intensity LED's in a future project.
The image posted was done this past weekend. I am still working on cleaning up the image like the sky layer needs to be masked around the mountain outline.
I also have an idea of using a raspberrypi or arduino controller to control some RGB LED's to allow for a possibility to add some animation to a art piece.
The image posted is made up of 4 layers with each layer having its own color.

Cleaned up the sky layer. Had a problem running it, learned more about CNC on this one.

Nice Job... Using LEDs will tend to cause bright stripes I would think, Cold Cathode gives a nice look, Maybe LED for the animation but this looks good, I wouldn't change it...
