My laser power supply looks different

Post by abdo »

In everybody's screenshots, the laser power supply is in an aluminum box... Mine is open and does not have the same connectors... How can I connect this to the DSP and power supply?

I also have a big transformer that I detached from the wide connector in the bottom of the picture.

It is not a good PS to work with the DSP controller. This kind of PS is good for analog signal and good for cutting. But the quality of the PS is not very good and won't last long. If you want to convert the K40 to DSP, I suggest you to get a 40W PWM power supply instead.

I bought the conversion package from lightobject; as you can see in the picture, I have the 24V power supply at the right of the picture. Is this enough or do I need something else?

I meant the switching power supply at the right of the picture; it came with my package. I mistook it for the laser power supply.

I searched lightobject for the 40 PWM power supply.

Does this one take 220V and is it the one I should buy?

Thanks,

Yes. The picture is for 60W though. The 40W looks a little difference and I need to update the picture. Still black in color
All our L.PS from 40W to 80W are 110V/220V selective with a back switch
