I'm ready to finish my 900x600 table. Time to buy a tube & power supply.
At first, I thought to purchase, as big a tube I could afford (130w)
I figured, bigger is better, right ? ? ?
Then I read the larger Watt tubes have a higher minimum output just
to lase and maintain a stable beam. This could be to much if I wanted
a lower setting.
You can compensate for a hotter beam by increasing the X Y speed, but
I'm not sure my XLE table can do it. Best speed I can do is 200-250mms,
otherwise I get stepper stalling. I may not have my drivers/software
setup correctly, but it works for now.
So, I decide to go with the following 80w setup;
Reci S2 80W CO2 Tube(10000Hrs)
LightObject # LSR-JLDHQ80WCO2
80W~100W PWM CO2 Power Supply (AC110V)
LightObject # LSR-JN80WCO2-1V
600W Mini chiller for CO2 laser (AC110V)
LightObject # WC-LO600W1V6
Is this a good combination ?
Should I do something different ?

Re: Tube / Power Suppy Choice.
I would have gone with the SPT C90 to save a few bucks and have Marco ship from stock, but your choice is good too.

The XLE can run at fast as 900mm/s without backslash. I think you have setting issue or hardware tuning issue. Select micro stepping to 4000 or 5000 is a good choice for the motors. I forgot the UM value but it should be around "6". You may want to review the FAQ I posted long ago to learn how to get the proper UM value
The combination is good. Reci 80W is very stable but not the130W or150W. They still have trouble to product more stable tubes at such power level. I'll order a few 130W tube from different brand and the beam quality is impressed. Plus, it has very low threshold current. Unlike Reci 130W that need 8~9mA, the new 130W tube need 5.5mA to reach stable condition and the beam spot is 5mm to 6mm compare to 8~9mm from Reci
