Please help I have JLD7100 and needs some assitance

Hello
I have a JLD7100 that I purchased from your ebay auction. It is a 12V controller. It came with a type Km1 thermocouple. I have the manual but need some assistance programming it.
I want to control a DC muffin fan in a cooler. The fan is rated at 12volts .5 amps.
I would like the fan to come on at 36 degrees F at +- 2 degrees.
Please explain what parameters I need to set in the unit to accomplish this and what connections I should use for the output to control the fan.
