JDL 634 - Issue with initiating a ramp/soak program

I have programmed the steps that I want in my program but I can't seem to initiate the program to start. I tried PASS 8888 which is supposed to restart the cycle from the PrL, but it doesn't seem to work.
Also, I've noticed that when I press >, it is supposed to show output value, step number, current run time. But it only shows me output value and then cycles back to set value of temperature.
All I want to do is start the ramp/soak program that I've already programmed.
Any help would be appreciated,
