I think my Z-axis stepper is bad.

I checked the continuity from one end of the cable to the other and it is good.

I plug y axis motor into z axis controller and it works.

I plug z axis motor into y axis controller and it does not work.

So is there something else to check?

I found the problem. The current was set wrong. It should be set to 1.5A
