stray lines from Corel to LaserCAD

It seems lately that when I export a drawing from Corel, it has all these extra lines... I must have changed something... Anyone else seen this?
it is a pain to spend more time cleaning up than to draw.... Corel X7 text or curves, doesn't matter
UPDATE: I had a old config file where I exported the software settings so I imported those settings and the problem is gone... so it was something in the software config... I would like to know though...
