We blew the tube on our laser a little while ago and just ordered the new one from LO. Shipping time was 3 or 4 days and the tube came very well packed. It took me about 10min just to get the tube out which makes me very confident that nothing could get damaged in shipping.

Side note: The 60W tube that we replaced is about a foot (0.3m) shorter than the new 60W tube. This leads me to believe that we never had a 60W tube in the first place and that is why we blew it.

I think the technology has moved on. I've purchased a new one recently too. The diameter and the length are shorter. I am currently wondering if I could significantly upgrade the power with a new PSU and fit something like a 120 Watt in the same space.
