Hi! long time no post!

A friend of mine has a bricked Reci 80w co2 laser tube, I tried to run it with a power supply from Lightobject, after connecting and testing for power, I pressed the "test" button on the PSU and I hear a hissing sound coming from the laser tube's end where the collimator is, but there is no laser ray or any other response.

Anyone heard of this before?

The tube is probably cracked.

That's exactly what I thought, but given my vast ignorance, I'd prefer to ask for a few opinions. Well since there's nothing to do with this tube, I'm gonna open it up and see what I can learn about it!
