Since I was unable to figure out how to wire up the new lightobject power supply, I decided to make the full conversion. I had minor issues during the conversion, but it wasn't too bad. However my first attempt at an engraving turned out rather weird.
Please see the attachment for the fuzzy engraving.

At least tell us the speed, focus lens you used. I don't think we can answer without the basic information.

I took the focus lens out of the old unit and put it inside of the air assist unit that came with the conversion kit. That was at a speed of 200. I also tried a speed of 100 with similar results. I have also made sure the mirrors where in alignment and all belts were tight in case i knocked them loose.

Most likely it is an mechanic issue. Check the focus point again. Also, post the original picture if you can.
Also, if you can upload a video would be better to do the trouble shooting.
BTW, draw a square box on a pieces of paper with low output and check the cutting line. If it is a little thick, it could be the focus point issue
