The connection is the same as X or Y axis. You may want to use 1/8 for the micro stepping and lose the lead screw a little.

Does it matter which one of the pairs are + and -?
I have it as follows
Pin1- Brown to A-
Pin3- Orange to B-
Pin4- Red to A+
Pin6- Yellow to B+
I know it has to be something silly right in front of my face but i cant see it.......
Also the controller at the moment is set at
1.5 amps
8 steps
But i have tried multiple configurations.....
Thanks
Mike

Hello Mike:
Can you check the motor to sort out the pair: A+ A- and B+ B-
The cable could be wrong as we have a batch that came with different configuration
Use a Ohm meter to check the resistance. If you can see some resistance (not open circuit), then it is a pair of either A or B
The pair could be 1&4, 3&6 or 1&3, 2$4
