Hi all,
Just wondering if a laser can cut Carbon fiber sheet

Sizes would be around the 2mm down to 1.5mm thick.
If it can be done,what size laser or power will be needed, I have a 40W atm.

Interesting thought...
I have a cousin who is a researcher into carbon composites - I'll see if I can getr some smiles from him to try out.

Thanks for that, my laser is not running yet it was just a thourght for later on when its up an running.

Its not possible to cut Carbon fiber composites. You can engrave it though. I tried it with my 80W laser.

cutting Carbon Fiber?
