Laser tube replacement questions

I am needing to replace my laser tube as it has finally gone too weak. Currently I have a hurricane laser with a RECI 100w w2 tube in it. On the light object page, I have found an 80-90w z4 Reci tube that seems like a suitable replacement. If I downgrade to the 80-90w, will I have to replace the PSU to match the tube, or can I simply adjust the power supply to the correct Milliamperes the tube requires? Will I need to make any changes in the Lasercut program after replacing with a lower power tube, and finally, will the tube be the same size and dimensions as the original? Don't want to make a lot of physical changes to mount a replacement tube. I appreciate any help on this subject. Thank you.

Z4 is 100W, not 80W. The Z2 is 80W
If you have to downgrade to 80W, your current PSU should be fine
You may, or may not need to change your conttoller to adopt the new tube

Thank you Marco. If I were to go ahead with the 100w Z4 tube, same question. Will I need to upgrade the PSU? Does the Z4 tube draw ore than the W2 tube?

Reci always suggest 28mA or lower curent for the 80W and 100W tube. If your power supply can output 28mA, most likely that you can use the same power supply for the 100W tube. For other brand 100W laser tube, 30mA~32mA is recommended to get full power output. However, more and more laser companies are trying to complete with Reci for the life span, so they would make the similar suggestion by asking customer to use lower current to drive their tube. You know what is result, right?
As you can see, some may find that some sellers (sorry can't name them), claimed that their tube can last 8000~10,000hrs like Reci does. I will just like to ....

Even Reci can't guarantee that their tube can last 8,000~10,000hrs. Reci is good but it is not the best. They do have their problem like others.
