Hi, i bought LSR-JN60W-3VPWM 20W 40W 60W PWM CO2 Laser Power Supply as a spare late last year and have gone to use it along with a new tube.

Seems to work fine when joining the manual test button to the TTL low side for activation, however putting a 5v 20ma connection directly into the TTL high side seems to cause no activation of the tube. Have tried disconnecting the TTL low completely and left it floating, and that does nothing.

Also the WP water pump connection appears to be permanently shorted to ground at the terminals with nothing connected, meaning that feature will not work? Or is this feature disabled on that model. I notice you don't sell them anymore either. Problems with them or??

You confused me here.

First of all, where did you get the 5V, 20mA from? You don't need to get an external 5V as the power supply built in 5V, next to the IN.

Second, it shouldn't be shwoing "TTL" on the PSU, right? That should shows on the DSP controller if I'm not forgotten.
The marking on the PSU should be:

TH TL WP G IN +5V

To get manual fire, you Tap WP (water protection) to the G (ground), +5V to the IN, and once you tap "TL" to the G, it fire in full power.

To control the output power, you add a 5Kohm or 10Kohm variable resistor (3 legs) to the "G IN +5V) where the center tap of the variable resistor is connected to the "IN". See connection diagram on the forum's Manual Download zone
