Hi. I'm new here.
I ordered NEMA 17 42HSM03 Dual Shaft Stepper motor for replacing my y axis motor.
I can't figure out how to remove the wheel pulley from the shaft.
Do someone know how to replace the pulley?
Thanks for the help.

Hi there
marco had a pulley remover in his store check it out. without a pulley remover you are better on to buy a new pulley because it very difficult to remove without damaging the pulley.

i would have to second that, either the tool or just new one is a must, i myself was actually successfull at removing it without any special tools, but man was it a pain in the A$$, but the second time, on something totaly not related to lasers, i broke it, so better not take chances

I used two screwdrivers as levers, one on each side of the pulley, then gently but firmly applied force to it downward, I rested the side of the screwdrivers on each side of the pulley, do not use the tips of the screwdrivers, it will damage either the pulley or even the motor.

Or you can use one of this;

It's called a pulley puller for a reason, you can find it on most hardware stores, it's pretty much standard equipment.
