Laser optics mirror question

Hi there. I have a question about quantity of mirrors to reflect the beam. I have rebulit the gantry on a 4'x5' table that I have finally started working on again after a year or so hiatus. I am contemplating mounting the laser below the table and then bouncing the beam up, over across, across and then down, which would effectively use 5 mirrors. My question is, would this be adviseable and how much power loss would occur and difficulty with alignment?? The laser is a 100w glass tube reci laser. I see to remember hearing about 3 watts of power loss per mirror, but don't remember right off hand.

Thanks everyone..
Chris

Not a good idea. The lost os power is not just by 3~4 watt per mirror but the lost would be by % after % after % after % after %, just like a compound interest lost to a mortgage. Plus, the alignment of beam is not easy without an great effort for 5 mirrors! So, double thinking it before doing so. Don't want to see you got frustrated and become an unhappy customer

Sorry my mistake. Just got back from China and my eyes still fuzzy

What you want is a "Si" mirror with 20mm in diameter. The default mirror comes with K40 is "glass base" with gold plated.
