Beam combiner

I just recieved a 25mm beam combiner and have some questions:

Its kinda hard to tell if there is a front and back?
I tried to shoot a red laser at it, it both reflects and penetrates at a 45 degree angle. Is it the co2 or the red pointing laser that are suppose to reflect? In other words, do I just exchange the first mirror or second mirror with the beam combiner? And place the red pointing laser behind?

Just found this picture of a epilog. One could assume that the beam combiner was more os less the same, so at a 45 degree angle the lens is letting the co2 beam through

It shouldn't be which side matter as both surface should reflect a 650nm Red Laser. A combiner lens will let go 10600um laser beam to pass through with about 2% power lost.

Sorry, I need to correct my last post. Per manufactuer, the combiner is 'sided' dependence!
There is a small arrow mark to to tell on the lens. Both CO2 and red beam laser must travelling in the same direction as indicated by the arrow

I'll post a picture tomorrow
