I'm going to order some honey cone sheet, need some intput.
What size you do you guy prefer?
I can get any szie I want but I'm trying to get most popular size and high demanding one. Most likely I don't want to got over 600x900 as it's hard to ship it.

1) 300x200
2) 300x500
3) 400x600
4) 600x900

I would use the 300x200 for my k40.

Can you measure me the exact size, is 300x200 the true size you want. Please response asap as I need to order and my shipment will be sometimes on this week!

Marco, My K40 has been modified to have a work area of approximately 8.5"x11" or about 300x200. My actual table size is 350x250.

Marco, Have you looked into the "egg crate" open square panels that are fitted to some lights. There seems to be a bit of interest on them lately as a cheap replacement to the honey comb sheet.

Hi marco,
the actualy opening size of the K40 is 360 X 240, but the cutting area is 340 X 220 . what means it depends on the fram of the honeycone. if it is only the honey cone sheet without a frame the best size would be 350 X 230 then everybody can add his own frame.

Steel (iron) honeycomb is best. If your cutting thin material that gets blown around by the air-assist, the steel honeycomb allows you to hold the material down with small magnets.

It will take two months to order as I need to order it in a batch. Due to the size and weight, it has to be shipped through ocean freight to my warehouse in CA. I'm going back to China soon after warehouse issue is completed. I'll order the honeycomb, XY stages, water chiller, and completed laser machine from 40W to 120W!

I already ordered 100 pieces and it should be shipped out by the end of this month through ocean shipment. It will take about 25 days to receive it. Along with it, there are water chillers, LO laser machines, XY stages, and other things

I'd say go for a small craftsman size (300x200) and a wide table size (900?x200). You can always neighbor up multiple combs to cover deeper tables. And cut it if you need something slimmer.

The problem with the "egg crate" square panels is that they are not perfectly flat. Depending on installation, they can have a dip or bump in them and cause your laser to become out of focus.

I'm looking for an alternate material for my laser bed. I have modeled one using 1/4" aluminum with a lot of holes in it. Afraid the machining time will be brutally expensive.
