Re: DSP to LPSU
If I send lcd and board I am going to be totally out of service. At least now I can cut my material.
Can I pay for new board and lcd - you ship it - when it arrives I can ship the old parts back? I am on the hook until a refund arrives for the defective board.

Yes you can do it. But if the return card is not defective, then we have to return it back to you

Ok. If it is defective then you have to give it to me for free. That is fair.

Re: DSP to LPSU
Great news!!! The new board works!!!!!!!!! I received it Saturday afternoon and installed this am. I simply unplugged the old board and plugged in new board with same connectors - same lcd, same wires and plugs - did not fully install in case it did the same output. I will now install it permanent - finally
Back to work
Question - I ordered a digital milliamp as well that came with it - instructions on how to install anywhere?
Now lets discuss our deal Marco. If the board was NOT defective...I pay for two boards. If the board IS defective you pay for two boards...fairness

Re: DSP to LPSU
Marco - is there any need to replace the lcd and other cables? They old ones (from the defective board) all work fine. I can return the unopened items(lcd and cables) with the defective board.
Also - can you please advise how to hook up the ampmeter I purchased or direct me to some install documents here?

Kees - now its beer time! Just finished an engraved bmp photo - didnt turn out that great but it wasnt a great bmp...the size was what I thought it should be - the power settings worked, as the image is graded nicely AND it's location on the table was exactly where I set it up to be!!!!! Moved the machine to a better venting location and moved the blower to another room for less noise - now its time to burn

Sorry for my late reply. You can send whatever you think is not necessary to keep.
So, the conclusion is that something wrong with the terminal board (silver board). The LCD is the main system (integrated with CPU) and it is the brain.
Great that you have a running system. When you ready to cut, pay attention to the current. You need a DC current meter to monitor the current. For a 60W laser tube, do not drive it over 22mA. Also, double check water flowing before power it up. Or, you may want to buy a new tube from me
Thank you for being patience with us. And thank you for the support from Kees.
