Your spot on Greg. I "was" into RC multirotors for a few years and it actually prompted me into getting into making parts. Started with a 3d printer, then a cnc machine, and most recently this laser cutter. Unfortunately I dont have a lot of time to fly anymore so i have sold off 95% of my RC stuff and focus primarily on "making". Also the growing fear of "drone" made it difficult to continue to fly my aircraft. I always loved building more then flying so its a win win for me.

I've been flying RC airplanes (mostly larger aerobatic stuff) and RC Helicopters for many years. I live in a rural area and can't see stopping now just because of recent paranoia.
No 3D printer yet, but I am finishing up a Hossmachine G0704 CNC mill conversion.

Anyway, I have a question on the topic of the thread. Is the LO 300x200 honeycomb supposed to be used with the LO z-table by just sitting the honeycomb on top of the z-table? Looking at the dimensions of the honeycomb, and measuring the clearance on my z-table, it doesn't look like it will fit. Does the frame on the honeycomb need to be cut, or is their another recommended method of incorporating it into the z-table?
