Hi,
first of all thankyou for your time.
I have a chinese 40w co2 laser machine with the horrible moshidraw that dont work at all it randomly stops every time, so i want to upgrade to dsp, the full dsp kit, But i dont know if my power supply is pwm or not.
I dont have the money to buy the power supply for now so i want to make the upgrade anyway, anyone has done it ?
I only want to make some cuts with the machine nothing of engraving.

the pin says | L- FG AC AC | |G P L G IN 5V | |P+ G k- k+| |G IN 5V| | ? G 5v L | in that order

I have the almost the same PSU and am also wondering the same thing. Also does anyone have a idea to what that TEXT button does?

It's a pretty safe bet that if you have a K40 in its original state (i.e. the one that comes with MoshiDraw and the MS10105 - or similar - PCB) it will NOT have the more expensive PWM power supply.
I didn't even question it when I upgraded mine, I just threw ALL the electronics out (not the motors though) and replaced them with LightObject equipment.
Worth every penny.
