Measure bidirectional DC current and convert to 0-5 vdc

Post by don0101 »

I wish to measure automotive battery DC current both charge and discharge with a shunt that will provide a -75 mv to +75 mv dc signal. I am looking for a meter that will then provide a 0-5 vdc signal to a microcontroller (0.0 vdc = -75 mv, 2.5 vdc = 0 mv, and 5.0 vdc = +75 mv). What product do you recommend?

This one should be good for you. It has 0-20mA (4-20mA) analog output.
