JLD5740TV

Post by RussellJ »

I have a JLD5740TV in my electric car. It's been working fine for the 2weeks that I've had it right up until this weekend. I drove my car until I got the low voltage warning, 154 volts, then disconnected the pack to work on the batteries. When I put the car back together the JDL5740 was dead. I removed the gauge, checked the 12 volt power and ground, all was ok. I tried to power it up using my wife's car for a power supply and still the gauge is blank. No lights. No relays clicking. Nothing. Is there a reset button somewhere inside this thing? Maybe a replaceable fuse or internal breaker? Is it toast? I really liked the meter, can I get it repaired?

When did you buy it? If it is within 6 months, you can send it back for exchange

I bought it earlier this month, I think it was around the 8th or 9th. Do I need an rma number?
