Problems with Auto Focus

I have a X7 (AWC708C).

I am trying to setup auto focus, but am not having the best of luck.

I have a HOME Z limit switch setup to Ground and -Z Limit.
I have a pen style auto focus proximity switch setup to trigger on +Z Limit.

When homing, the table goes down, hits the limit switch and resets. (This is the desired behavior).
When trying to auto focus, the table goes down and also activates against the limit switch. (This is wrong!)

The table needs to go UP and use the auto focus sensor. How do I get that to work? How can I test the auto focus sensor to ensure it is working?

Try changing the positive or negative direction on the z axis in the software. That may help
