Hey,
i sometimes think that the lox x7 has its own life. Without having changed anything suddently the laser startet lasering upside down. Everything was inverted. I was able to change it with inverting the "datum" values in the software. The laser itself engraves everything right now but the arrows on the x7 are inverted. Left arrow goes right, up arrow goes down and vice versa. My machine has zero on the bottom left. On the display i can see that the value on x and y increases the more i move into the upper right corner so this seems to be correct. But how can i change how the arrow keys behave? I tried to invert the other values, too but this leads to the machine trying to zero somewhere else (where no limit switches are installed).
Please help me. This is really crazy.

ok thats so strange. I changed it for the 10th time (key direction) and now it works. Is it possible that the system has got problems when the key direction and the datum are changed at the same time? or
is there some kind of reset i need to to? I swear i did the same settings before but they did not work.

Setting all directions right at first is something like minus times minus is plus.. I know i had to spend quite a time before i had that right too.. But once set, it Always worked like i wanted.
Upgrading some software or any malfunction on your computer like a powerdip or so could distort any configuration occasionaly (quite rare however)
Saving your settings and keep that settingsfile save could help you out when ever this occurs a next time.
Is there no jamming source, like someone welding, a plasmacutter or even a cellphone near sensitive part of your system?

Hey Kees,
this sounds as a good idea. I already worked this out before but forgot to save. I never would have expected that the values get changed without me doing anything ; )
thanks!
