K40 origanal power supply

I have a 40w cheap laser. I installed the AWC608 upgrade using the original laser power supply. The laser will only fire at about 25% of full power. I found what I think is the pinout of the supply (see image). I can wire up a button and a pot and get it fire at full power. Also after a few test runs the display text has gotten very dim. Maybe an controller issue? Please advise...
