setting up dip switches for stepper driver
is there any way how to find how should i set up the dip switches on the stepper driver?, how to know if ive set it up fine o wrong.... thanks

If you know your travel per rotation, you can calculate the number of micrometers per full step. Try to get this number somewhere around 2.. so if your travel is 100mm per rotation of the stepper and the stepper has 200 steps per rev,
microstep 1 (fullstep) is 100/200 x 1000 = 500 um/rev, so setting your microstep to 1/256 will give you roughly 2um/step.
Sometimes your system will slow down because of the high steprate, Then it's better to take on microstep higher (in this example it could be 1/128) to get your speed high enough.. In this example your um/unit will be 1/128 x 100 / 200 = ~4
