Hi all
Just wondering if anyone can tell what the letters L & N stand for on the psu? i assume its live and neutral but as im new to this im not sure. i was emailed a wiring diagram that seems to be getting around these forums but the wiring between the laser psu and the psu doesnt seem to add up in my mind based on my original question, if the L does actually stand for live and assuming red is positive and black is negative then why is the negative (black wire) run into the live section on the psu? or is that so it can be run in series to the mains power?

Re: K40 dsp wiring diagram
"L" or "N" on the DC power supply make no difference as it is an isolated input

Yes.
You already know what is "N" and "L" stand for.
By the way, on the diagram, the X driver power connection is missing. It need power to run.
