 Post subject: is rotary engraving possible with the DSP ?

I want to use the DSP Controller´s Z/U axis to drive a rotary unit . In the manual there is nothing to find about such possibility.
Is there any means to use a rotary unit with this controller?
The RD software seems to be for x-y drive only, no support for rotary devices. Is there a version available that supports rotary engraving of cylindrical objects?

You need to detached the "Y" axis (stepping motor) and hook it up to the rotary. The 4th axis of the DSP is designed for 'material' feeding. For example, cloths feeding for laser texture cutting machine
