Lasercad scaling issue (inches scalded to mm)

I am trying to import a DXF into LaserCAD v7.98.15. The DXF is of an object that is 8 inches in height. When I import the DXF into LaserCAD it appears 8mm tall instead. Please help me solve this problem. I cannot find any way to fix this.

Look for a drop down on your open file/import window called DXF unit, right side of the file preview. Change it to inch before opening the DXF.
