LaserCAD update problem

I recently lost a co-worker in a tragic accident that was the master mind behind our laser engravers in our Technology classrooms. I'm somewhat of a newbie and believe this is a simple question. I'm trying to update my LaserCAD software v7.52 to v7.78 or later on my computer. When I try to install it I keep getting "Parsing the file...." I have even tried deleting the v7.52 thinking it may be interfering. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you in advance.

It seems that you didn't unzipped the file you downloaded. Make sure you did that first

Yes I did unzip the file and am trying to install the "setup" file.

The file you downloaded may be corrupted. Download the latest one from our site
After installation, click manufacturer parameters and do READ system parameters.
