When DSP card is powered up, the X motor chatters against the switch. The x and y switches are operating correctly and in the open position. Each time the dsp is powered up the 0,0 position change about 10 mm diagonally. How do we establish a permanent 0,0 position?
Also, always receive “Beyond size error” whenever a project is brought in from Coreldraw 12 through the laserCad macro. Have the same problem when exporting the Coreldraw file as DXF and importing to LaserCad. I am drawing in mm and have the page size the same area as the work area of the laser.

Sounds like you are losing steps at both X and Y. According to your description, I would suspect the limit switches are the troublemakers. Sluggish responses from the limit switches fail to stop the laser head at the (0,0) position.
"Beyond size error" could be caused by few things. Try to look into FAQ section for possible reasons. Hope it helps.
