i recently won some ILDA (international laser display association) awards for my laser show programming and wanted to wear something nice for the awards ceremony in las vegas.
i did the design work based on my tribal heritage (citizen potowatomi nation) and used my laser cutter to etch it into leather pieces. my mother, who is an excellent seamstress, turned the etched leather into a vest.
and here i am wearing it at the awards ceremony:
i even managed to use my laser cutter to make the cut outs on my business cards:
