Hi Gang.
A couple months ago I took delivery of a K40 and started learning what it will do and not do. I quickly decided it needed air assist and purchased the piece from LightObject.com. Then I discovered the need for a 18mm focus lens, which I received today. All good so far.
What is not good is that something doesn't fit right. I can drop the lens into the pocket, But I'm not sure which way the lens correct, belly up or belly down? I'm placing the lens between the center double threaded part and the part the nozzle is attached to.
Thanks
Larry

I was going to ask the same thing, I also have to 18mm air assist and purchased the 18mm lens and hope that I put it in correctly. my lens is flat on one side and curved outward on the other side. I installed it with the cure side facing upwards. Is this correct?

Yes, your Concave is practically zero, but your Convex is still visible, so this side is up (towards the lasertube's output..)dansgscale wrote: Is this correct?
