Is it possible to control temperature to within 0.1C with the 612 controller?
I plan to use Pt100 sensor with it. I saw on this forum a statement to use Pt10 setting for higher accuracy. Please comment. Tx.

Re: Precision temp control with 612
The 0.1 degree resolution setting is Pt10.0 as opposed to the 1 degree resolutions etting Pt100 -- distinguished by the location of the decimal point. Whether or not 0.1 degree stable temperatures can be attained depends on many variables, but the JLD612 can do it, if proper conditions are established.
For example, my 250 gallon outdoor hot tub, with it's cover closed and with relatively unvarying ambient temperature, will stay within 0.1 degree Fahrenheit as reported by the JLD612 for hours at a time. This stability is hugely helped by the large thermal mass of the hot water. It is much harder to hold small masses at a constant temperature unless they are well insulated.
