Hi,
I've been trying to weed through the various tidbits of information on this forum and the Manual, but I still do not have anything working.
I am currently trying to get the stepper motors to run, or even just to move.
Rather than me listing all the setting I currently have, let me ask:
Is there a definitive guide anywhere on retrofitting a K49IV with a TB6560 controller board?

Re: TB6560 - K49IV - Mach3 Installation instructions
I have a slightly different machine but still using the same TB6560 controller.
I was able to get the steppers to move as well as getting the home switches to sense, but I cannot for the life of me get the laser to fire. I can fire it manually at full power or whatever the I set it at, but I just can't seem to get MACH 3 to control it.
I have gone over all the documention provided and followed it perfectly with still no success. I am now starting to wonder if I have a faulty board or maybe the documention is flawed.
If you need some help I can probably help you out in getting your steppers to move and limit switches to sense but as for firing the laser...it just can't get it to work.
Totally frustrated
Richard

Marco has done a bit of work here for "buildsomething" to get Mach3 set up and it should get you on the right path.
