Laser beam died

Help! I have a k40 that's been upgraded with a LightObject 1000mm 40 watt tube using the extension box and a LightObject HV power supply. In the middle of a job today the beam died. The tube only draws 200ma now (no matter the power setting) and looking at it I only see the "beam" for a couple of inches at the beam exit end. Is this likely a tube or a PS problem? The tube is only 18-24 months old and has less than 20 hours on it. The PS is only 15 months old. The tube has not been over driven or over heated. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
