There's not a topic for the R6 in controllers so I'll ask it here,
What are the differences and are there any feature additions to the R6 from the Ruida flavor of the 6445G?
I know the R6 adds rotary support ( new from older versions of 6445G ), but I understand it's not a true 4th axis. The controller internally switches the Y axis for rotary, is that correct?
Can the control unit be purchased separately from the display?
Thanks
Joel

Re: DSP R6
Hi Joel:
The R6(R6445G) is a true 4 axis controller. The difference between the R6 (special edition for LO) to regular R6445G is about the software. It converts the 4th to rotary without the hassle of removing the Y for connection. Plus, we will work closely with Ruida to add unique feature to the software.
BTW, we can't sell it separate form. Must purchase a complete set
Thanks
Marco

Hi Marco,
Do you have a manual for your R6 available to download?

You can download the manual from Ruida website. Everything is the same except for the rotary part. We need to write up a simple manual for the rotary configuration later

The LO R6 sounds like a great product, yet it is out of stock on the LO site: can you give us an idea of IF and when it might be back in stock?
PS the description you gave above in the thread actually tells more info than the product page, so thank you.
I am not in a rush to purchase, but say in the next 3 months?
